Self Regional Medical Center
Self Regional Healthcare is a comprehensive, independent, not-for-profit health system serving approximately 300,000 residents across South Carolina’s Lakelands region, including Greenwood, Laurens, Edgefield, Abbeville, McCormick, Newberry, and Saluda counties.
The three-hospital system includes a 358-bed acute care hospital, two 25-bed critical access hospitals, a skilled nursing facility and more than 3,900 employees. More than 500 providers deliver care across 40+ medical specialties, including internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, and neonatology.
Self Regional also offers virtual care and advanced clinical capabilities, including Level II emergency services, a Level III trauma center, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Montgomery Center for Family Medicine
The Montgomery Center for Family Medicine is the clinical facility which houses the residency training program and is conveniently located across the street from Self Regional Medical Center. It includes 30 exam rooms with four nurse’s stations, three minor surgery rooms, a CenteringPregnancy room, laboratory and X-ray suites, an exercise stress lab, administrative offices, sports medicine center, residents’ lounge and offices, conference and lecture rooms. It also includes creature comforts of home: a full kitchen; male and female locker rooms and showers; and a scenic rooftop patio.
